OpenRoper Blueprint — Quantify

Turn Compass insights into a finance-ready plan. Blueprint models the ROI, defines the KPIs, and sets acceptance criteria so pilots can prove value in weeks...not quarters.

Blueprint anchors the Quantify phase...where outcomes and evidence are engineered.

What Blueprint Does

Blueprint translates operator needs into a clear, dollarized plan. It identifies where value lives, which KPIs matter, and how to attribute impact back to specific interventions...so finance, operations, and leadership share one definition of success.

  • Engineering of KPIs tied to business value (MTTR, repeat rolls, recovered MWh, $ avoided).
  • Baseline vs. improved scenarios with explicit assumptions and constraints.
  • Evidence rules for attribution (what counts, what doesn’t, and how it’s verified).
  • Acceptance criteria for the pilot and thresholds for scale-up decisions.

Inputs & Outputs

Inputs

  • Compass deliverables (Vision & Alignment, prioritized use-cases).
  • Historical ops data: CMMS tickets, SCADA summaries, downtime logs.
  • Financial context: labor rates, truck-roll cost, energy price/CF assumptions.

Outputs

  • KPI definitions with formulas, data sources, and owners.
  • ROI model (baseline → intervention → delta → $ impact).
  • Pilot acceptance criteria and measurement plan.

Example Deliverable - ROI Model Snapshot

KPI

  • MTTR (hours)
  • Repeat truck-roll rate
  • Recovered MWh

Baseline → Target

  • 7.5 → 5.5
  • 18% → 12%
  • — → +0.3% yield

$ Translation

  • Labor + downtime avoided
  • Truck-roll cost avoided
  • Energy value @ CF & price

Assumptions and data sources are versioned; attribution rules determine what counts toward impact.

Pilot Acceptance Criteria

Blueprint ends with a shared definition of “done.” If the pilot meets these targets, we proceed to broader rollout; if not, we analyze, tune, and retest.

  • MTTR reduced by ≥ 20% at pilot sites.
  • Repeat truck-rolls reduced by ≥ 25%.
  • Clear evidence trail linking improvements to specific interventions.

What Comes Next

With KPIs engineered and the ROI model agreed, the team moves into TrailMap...designing the pilot and adoption plan to safely prove value.
