SkinnyCowboy was born in the Heartland of Boerne, Texas... built by a founder who listened first. We partnered closely with solar field technicians, O&M leads, and asset managers and heard the same pain points again and again: cryptic fault clarity, repeat site visits, diagnosis delays, off-line availability, software that adds friction, thin or inconsistent procedures and training, and too many people to call with different answers. We’re building OpenRoper, a field assistant that works with the tools you already use. It ingests SCADA, CMMS, and job logs, surfaces recurring issues, and highlights what needs attention now so techs fix faster and avoid double trips. No vendor lock-in. No bloat. Just fast, transparent intelligence that keeps systems online and crews focused.

Our goal is clear. OpenRoper is positioned to be the standard intelligence layer augmenting O&M platforms worldwide. It doesn’t replace operator O&M systems; it makes them smarter, faster, and ROI-driven. As global solar capacity accelerates toward 2030, OpenRoper becomes the layer that translates field operations into measurable financial outcomes. It is the glue between SCADA, CMMS, and operator ledgers, surfacing the ROI that’s been hidden inside day-to-day operations. We measure success the way operators do: higher availability, faster time-to-fix, fewer repeat site visits, and lower O&M cost. We’re in active development with pilot partners and moving quickly, keeping outcomes first and AI second.
